Arlington is located roughly 6 miles Northwest of Boston, covering 5.5 square miles with approximately 44,000 residents.
A town with a rich history, Arlington played a crucial role in the Revolutionary War, where much of the fighting against the British occurred as the Redcoats marched through returning to Boston from the Old North Bridge at the beginning of the war.
Arlington’s Mass Avenue commercial district is hugely successful, attracting folks from neighboring towns to explore its many acclaimed restaurants and boutiques. Arlington is also home to a portion of the Minuteman Bike Trail, a family friendly 10 mile stretch of paved pathway that begins in Cambridge and continues through Arlington and Lexington before ending in Bedford.
